PlayStation console is a device that provides entertainment to millions and millions of players from all over the world, and each generation of the console was a huge success. Sony, a company with respectable tradition and long-lasting history in the gaming business, always try to put customer satisfaction at the top of company’s priorities.
The introduction of PlayStation Network in 2006 and the subsequent addition of PSN Plus in 2010 are clear signs of this care for their users and their needs. The age of hard copies and scratched disks is behind us, and services such as PSN Plus are the future of gaming and multimedia.
PSN Plus is a premium service, and therefore – the subscription for this service is relatively high. To make things even worse, Sony has announced that the fee will be even higher after September 22, 2016. The reason for the increase in price is attributed to market conditions, and Sony was forced to raise the price so that they could continue offering a world-class service.
The 12-month plan will now cost $59.99, while the 3-month fee will be $24.99. The subscription for only one month will remain on the same price level as it is now – $9.99. However, not everything is as bad as it seems, because you have a chance to win a free membership in daily psn card giveaway events. Also Sony is offering free games this August and we are bringing you short reviews of two of those games.
Tricky Towers is a colorful and addictive game, created by “WeirdBeard Games”. As the name clearly suggests, this physics-based puzzle game is all about building towers. The goal is to build your tower faster and higher than your opponent, and you can also cast the spells on their towers to slow down their progress.
Since the game can be played in a multiplayer mode, with 2 to 4 players at once, things can get pretty crazy in this game and only skillful players will find their way out of this mayhem. Tricky Towers is an enjoyable and fast game, with a lot of exciting features, and players will have a lot of fun playing this title.
Another game that is free on PSN Plus this August is called Rebel Galaxy, and the creators of this game are coming from the software company “Double Damage.” Again, the title reveals the nature of the game, so players can conclude that the gameplay has something to do with galaxies and space ships.
That would be a good guess because the Rebel Galaxy is a combat RPG, where the player takes a role of a massive intergalactic destroyer. The role of the ship is to explore new worlds and to discover as many resources as possible. In the same time, you can be a work-for-hire mercenary or a full-on pirate, and your style of play will determine the number of blasts and objects destroyed in the space around your ship. The game is packed with action and adventure so players will have a lot of fun traveling the interstellar distances.
